Qatar top food manufacturing hub in GCC States
(MENAFN) Qatar is set to emerge as a major food manufacturing hub in the GCC region, with the completion of the ongoing development of warehousing and logistics parks.
Additionally, the GCC nations, involving Qatar, are giving a focus on developing the booming regional food manufacturing industry, which has increased up to USD25bn.
Accordingly, the support by Qatar Development Bank and efforts made by several public and private entities will help establishing a vibrant food manufacturing industry.
Meanwhile, GOIC, the Doha-based advisory institution which eases at developing regional industries, inaugurated the 1st Forum of GCC Food Manufacturers and Food Security Program.
