    Egypt to sign deal worth USD85m with Arab Fund

    (MENAFN) The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) had signed a deal with Egyptian government worth USD85m.

    Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation said that the loan will help fund building a 50 MW photovoltaic power plant in Kom Ombo in Aswan.

    After the Annual Meetings of the Arab Financial Institutions in Morocco's capital Rabat, the deal was signed between Sahar Nasr and Director-General of the AFESD.

    Moreover, Egyptian government is seeking to realize the highest level of environmental safety and sustainability in line with the global environmental standards for more clean energy.
