Omani USD120m theme park project to be set in 2017
(MENAFN) Omani biggest theme park project, which is worth USD120 million, is set for completion by 2017, according to the organizers, Arabian Business reported.
Majarat Oman will be built over an area of 25,000 square meters at Al Sawadi Beach Resort. The venue will cater for 2,500 to 3,000 visitors per day when it is completely active.
The venue, situated 45 minutes away from the capital, has been described as futuristic, alien themed, indoor park catering all family entertainment.
"This project is going to change the landscape of domestic tourism in Oman," an official from Arab Malaysia Development Company told Times of Oman in a statement.
