Following the 2006-2008 strategic plan, BBK created the transactional banking division to accelerate market penetration within the small to medium enterprise (SME) segment. Its brief was to introduce a strategic product organization to focus on optimizing transactional activity, increasing balances, and generally improving the corporate customer’s cash flow management and related service expectations from the bank.
The division also has responsibility for developing, deploying, and managing cash management, trade finance products, and increasing market share within the SME segment.
