Lebanon aims USD10-12bn in infrastructure investment
(MENAFN) Lebanon is aiming USD10-12bn in infrastructure investment from the global community over the coming seven years to cope with the presence of Syrian refugees in the nation.
Meanwhile, the Council of Development and Reconstruction is working on a plan for the needs of Lebanon and will send this report to the international community.
On April 5, representatives from 70 national delegations, main donors and humanitarian and development orgs met in Brussels to raise funds for nations hosting Syrian refugees.
Additionally, global donors made a collective pledge of USD6bn for this year only, as stated EU Humanitarian Aid Commissioner.
