Turkish Airlines to code-share deal with Gulf Air

(MENAFN) Bahrain's Gulf Air and Turkish Airlines have signed a code-share agreement that will see the light next month, in which the two airlines will be covering flights operated between Manama and Istanbul.

The agreement will see the two carriers apply their codes to the particular daily flights they operate between the two cities starting of the first day of November.

Gulf Air Deputy CEO Captain Waleed Abdul Hameed Al Alawi said, "Entering into a code-share agreement with Turkish Airlines is a positive strategic step forward for Gulf Air, through which we offer our guests a larger combined frequency of flights while strengthening and enhancing our commercial ties".

Said after Gulf Air's CEO Maher Salman Al Musallam resigned in June, no replacement has been appointed yet by the airline.
