    Iran's protests: oil production and exports not affected

    (MENAFN) Iranian oil and shipping sources reported the conflict scattering across Iran to have not affected crude oil production and exports in the country while a crackdown has heightened against anti-government demonstrations that initiated a week ago.

    Roughly 3.8 million barrels each day are being produced by OPEC's third-biggest oil producer, Iran.

    Iranian oil industry source declared "I see no impact on the production and export," while another source explained "everything is going normally" as the source clarified the protests to haven't widened into the energy sector and "remained in the streets".
