Saudi retailer to seek increased demand in 2018
(MENAFN) Saudi Retailer United Electronics Co, known as eXtra, is seeking a rise of demand for televisions ahead of the soccer World Cup anticipated this year.
During an interview, CEO Mohamed Galal announced that the company has in mind to launch new stores within this year while it aims to pull out a return to productivity into 2018.
The CEO further added that "activity should pick up in the second half" even if sales during the first quarter were "very soft" following the implementation of VAT in January 1st.
