    UAE Uber launches time-based service aimed at business community

    (MENAFN) It was announced that ride-hailing app Uber has introduced UberHire, its latest service in the UAE which targets the business community.

    The new service provides passengers with an option to block-book a vehicle and driver with a fare based on time rate instead of kilometers. The minimum fare for the first three hours is at AED300, followed by an AED1.67 fare per minute up to an eight hour maximum.

    UAE's Uber general manager Chris Free stated "our technology makes it possible for us to create specialised solutions that can help users have access to reliable transportation at affordable prices."

    He continued "UberHire is a product that addresses the commuting needs of working professionals in Dubai by letting them book an Uber and use it for up to eight hours. It is set to transform business travel in the UAE."
