Egypt, UAE sign agreement for industrial zone project
(MENAFN) UAE's Dubai Ports (DP) World declared Egypt and the UAE to have partnered on an integrated industrial and residential zone in Sokhna in Egypt.
It also confirmed it joined with Egypt's Suez Canal Authority and the Suez Canal Economic Zone in signing a deal for the execution of the industrial zone's initial stage.
DP World's chairman and CEO Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem was confirmed to have signed the deal, along with Suez Canal Authority and the Suez Canal Economic Zone's chairman Admiral Mohab Mamish.
While expressing admiration of the project's future advantages, Mamish affirmed Egypt to be behind it with "all available resources and capabilities."
