    Kirkuk oil exports to continue after Iraq, Kurdish authorities agreement

    (MENAFN) Iraq and Kurdish regional authorities were confirmed to have decided to recommence Kirkuk oil exports via Turkey's Ceyhan port.

    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared "it was agreed with the Kurdish side to start exporting oil from Kirkuk."

    During a weekly news conference, he also revealed both sides to have decided to set aside other issues and deal with them later on.

    The Prime Minister also confirmed that Turkish government and the Kurds were still currently in talks, refraining from granting further information.
