Egypt to review airline incentives program for foreign tourists
(MENAFN) Egypt's recently appointed tourism minister has revealed the beginning of an assessment of a program of incentives for airlines that were launched for attracting tourists.
The country has previously provided incentives for airlines that include easyJet along with tour operators that include TUI for the purpose of attracting further foreign visitors.
Minister Rania al-Mashat reportedly declared "between now and June, we'll be evaluating the success of that program."
The new minister added "it has been going very well, but we may revisit some of its parameters, based on feedback from our different stakeholders."
