    Kuwait, Turkmenistan seal agreements to boost cooperation

    (MENAFN) The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported several agreements to have been reached between Kuwait and Turkmenistan, aiming to boost cooperation in a number of areas.

    Both parties have reportedly reached a conclusion to create a joint committee for partnership, along with a bilateral visa exemption agreement for people who own special, service and diplomatic passports.

    Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was declared to have been present at the signing ceremony, alongside Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

    A memorandum of understand for customary talks was also revealed to have been signed by Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and his Turkmen counterpart Rasit Meredow.
