    Qatar signs agreements for sea, land defense supplies with Turkey

    (MENAFN) Qatar and Turkey were confirmed to have reached various deals and signed memorandums of understanding for sea, land defense supplies and technology transfer.

    Qatar news agency (QNA) reported a memorandum of understand to have been signed by Qatar's ministry of interior with the Turkish Ares Shipyard for the supply of nine marine vessels.

    This MoU has been signed with the purpose of development Qatar's competence in its coast guard and border forces.

    Both parties were also declared to have signed a partnership agreement for joint manufacture of weapons systems, along with technology transfer.
