    Iran, Kazakhstan discuss bilateral cooperation

    (MENAFN) The Iranian Foreign Ministry has declared a meeting between Iranian and Kazakh foreign minister to have been held over methods to boost bilateral ties.

    Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has urged alongside his Kazakh counterpart Stanislav Vassilenko for deals between both countries to be carried out, more specifically agreements in energy and transportation sectors.

    During their meeting in Astana, both sides have also called for joint investments to be launched along with a plan to boost trade cooperation.

    They have also held talks on issuing visas for Iranian and Kazakh business figures, as well as easing banking relations among Iran and Kazakhstan.
