Kuwait targets USD220bn GDP in mega-project
(MENAFN) Kuwait is to launch a mega-project, aiming to generate foreign direct investment (FDI) of USD200 and put in the economy USD220 billion.
The Northern Gulf Gateway is expected to attract several investors from the US, Asia, China and Europe.
The plan is also considered as an integrated flagship project that is able to meet the Kuwait National Vision 2035.
Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah explained "we have chosen the Northern Gulf Gateway development not only as an economic catalyst but also to take advantage of our geographic location, which lies closest to two of the world's oldest civilizations."
