Islamic finance to be discussed in Kuwait's global conference in May
(MENAFN) Kuwait was revealed to be hosting an international conference related to Islamic finance that is organized by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) and the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB).
The conference is to be held on May 2nd, as it will focus on the significance of Islamic finance for sustainable and comprehensive development to occur.
CBK has issued a statement explaining the conference to also talk about Islamic finance "major appeal" as an instrument for "inclusiveness" along with its key part when it comes to the national economic plan.
IFSB chairman and CBK governor Mohammad al-Hashel also declared the event to be carried out "at the right time for the development of the global Islamic finance industry."
