Qatargas, Thai EGAT sign MoU for LNG business
(MENAFN) A memorandum of understanding was declared to have been signed between Qatargas and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
The MoU was explained to have been signed to dive into mutual interests that are related to the liquefied natural gas (LNG) business.
Qatargas announced that both sides would "jointly identify and evaluate best practices in the LNG industry, particularly in the sharing of knowledge and expertise in procurement of LNG, LNG transportation, and floating storage and regasification units (FSRU)."
In its statement, Qatargas also explained the MoU to be entailing an option for Thailand to be supplied with LNG.
