    Sudan, Kenya prepared for boost in economic relations

    (MENAFN) Sudan was confirmed to have concluded a meeting with Kenya, resulting in declaring willingness for bilateral relations and economic ties to be strengthened.

    Sudanese First Vice-President Bakri Hassan Saleh and Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto were in official talks in Sudan when their plan to boost ties was settled.

    The Sudanese official confirmed "we reiterate our readiness to work together to enhance the economic and trade relations and diversify them for the interests of the two countries, particularly after the lifting of the unilateral sanctions on our country."

    The Kenyan official also affirmed that "Kenya is prepared to make its contribution through our regional peace initiatives in Somalia, in the Congo and South Sudan."
