Jordan receives offers for 200 MW solar power plants
(MENAFN)Jordan was confirmed to have been granted 16 technical and financial proposals made by regional and global companies for the launch of its 200 megawatts solar power projects.
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources revealed the offers to have come from companies from several countries, including Jordan, China and Europe.
In its emailed statement, the ministry further declared the country to begin a process to choose four bidders for the construction of the four solar power plans, each with a 50 MW capacity, located in Maan Development Zone.
The ministry further announced a specialized committee to have already commenced a review process for the offers, with the chosen bidders to be declared during 2018's third quarter.
