Omani Ministry of Housing hands over 22,000 plots in H1
(MENAFN) The Omani Ministry of Housing has reportedly distributed over 22,000 plots for a range of purposes across the sultanate in the first half this year.
Muscat Daily reported the Dakhliyah governorate to have received 19,000 plots, with over 4,000 being residential plots.
The report explained the move as part of the ministry's efforts to hand over lands for different reasons, preservation and registration of property under the system through Secretariat of the Land Registry.
The ministry offers three kinds of social housing programmes to help low-income and social security families, which are free housing unit, housing assistance, and housing loans.
