    Israel sees boost in agriculture output, export in 2017

    (MENAFN) Israel was found to have recorded a 0.9 percent increase in the output value of its agriculture last year.

    The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development showed in its annual report the export value in the sector to have posted a 3.2 percent rise.

    The report unveiled the output of output last year to have accounted for around USD8.22 billion, with its agricultural exports reaching a total of USD1.19 billion.

    Israel' key export corps include potato, carrot and pepper, amounting for 89 percent of the total export of vegetables.
