Israel to allocate USD243m investment in digital health

(MENAFN) The Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported Israel to be set to allocate USD243 million of investment in digital health, a move in line with a national plan.

Israel is to invest an overall of 60 million new shekels in trial pilots in the following three years, with half of it to be invested within the coming year.

The program is aiming to encourage technologies to be used in the country's health system in order to develop an excellent medical information infrastructure.

The entry of technologies into the health system also targets the digital health industry to become a fuel for national development.
