    Iraq's southern oil exports surge to record high in July

    (MENAFN) Iraq was found to have registered a record high in the southern export of its crude oil, hitting 3.543 million b/d in July.

    The oil ministry showed in its data exports to have posted a rise of 22,000 b/d in July, with loadings from the Persian Gulf terminals breaking the record of 3.535 million b/d.

    The increase has been registered even after witnessing constant halts of loadings from the Khor Al-Amaya terminal as a result of sea line leaks and routine maintenance.

    Figures obtained from sources close to the State Oil Marketing Organization also unveiled exports to be consisting of 2.70 million b/d of Basrah Light crude and 843,000 b/d of Basrah Heavy.
