Yemen's Houthis impose gas prices hike

(MENAFN) Yemen's Houthi rebels were confirmed to have once more raised prices of gas within areas under their control, such as Sanaa.

The gas prices hike is believed to have been imposed in retaliation, looking to obstruct attempts to stabilize the Yemeni rial.

The increased gas prices by the militants have pushed the 20 liters gallon to reach 9 thousand Yemeni Rials.

The rate for a 20 liters gallon has been registered at 3500 riyals ahead of the civil war Houthi coupists have fueled in 2014.
