    Egypt's foreign trade exchange increase to USD65.6bn

    (MENAFN) The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) unveiled the foreign trade exchange of the country to have stood at USD65.6 billion in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2017-18.

    Egypt's foreign trade volume was shown in the CBE monthly report to have consisted of imports at USD46.8 billion and exports at USD18.8 billion.

    The foreign trade exchange has recorded an USD5.3 billion boost compared to the same period during the 2016-17 fiscal year when it reached USD60.3 billion.

    During the nine-month period of the 2017-18 FY, the UAE has been listed as Egypt's most major trade associate, followed by China, the US, Saudi Arabia and Italy.
