Bahrain's Mumtalakat sells stake in Noble Learning Communities

(MENAFN) Bahrain's Mumtalakat Holding Company was announced to have completed the sale of its stake in US Nobel Learning Communities.

The top private education provider owns a network of over 190 private schools all across the US as it attends to the requirements of children.

The Bahraini sovereign wealth fund noted that it purchased a stake in Nobel Learning Communities in 2015, jointly with Investcorp.

"Nobel Learning has grown considerably since our investment three years ago, answering the needs of more people with their quality educational programmes," Mumtalakat CEO Mahmood H Alkooheji stated.

The CEO pointed out that "on average, each additional year of education a child receives increases their adult earnings by about 10 per cent."

Alkooheji added "we continue to seek investments in different education subsectors, including private pre-K and K-12 education, vocational training, and educational support software."
