Israel's Tnuva hosts 1st food tech innovation race for startups
(MENAFN) Israeli food manufacturer Tnuva was confirmed to have held Israel's first food tech innovation competition which was joined by a number of Israeli food tech startups.
The Israeli startups have participated in the competition as they fought for the top 10 final seats, aiming to showcase their innovations.
The large food maker hosted the event in order for the Israeli startups to display their innovation when it comes to the area of food tech.
During the event, CEO of Tnuva Eyal Melis said "we decided at the end of 2017 to set up an innovation program at Tnuva after we have not dealt with it for years."
The CEO added "we have to open up to the innovation that comes from outside the organization, there are millions of scientists in the world and we are trying to open ourselves."
