Iran, China see 10 percent boost in trade value in H1

(MENAFN) Iran and China were announced to have seen a 10.1 percent boost in the value of their trade from January to June this year, reaching USD17 billion.

The figures have been revealed by Gao Feng, the spokesman for China's Ministry of Commerce during an interview with IRNA.

The two countries have also witnessed a 19 percent increase in the worth of their trade last year, as it reached USD37.18 billion.

"Economic ties between the two countries will develop not considering the internal rules of the third countries," the spokesman stated.

"China will continue its economic and trade relations with Iran as before and the U.S. withdrawal from Iran's nuclear deal has no effect on the economic ties between the two countries," Feng added.
