    Iran, Kazakhstan post 70 percent trade turnover jump

    (MENAFN) Iran and Kazakhstan were announced to have seen a jump of 70 percent in their trade turnover during the first half of this year.

    The figure has been unveiled by Iran's ambassador to Kazakhstan Mojtaba Damirchilu during a meeting with Kazakh Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

    Trend News Agency reported the Iranian envoy to have hailed Kazakhstan as a leading country in the Eurasian region, affirming Iran's commitment to focus on cooperation with the country.

    The envoy stated "great work has recently been done, favorable conditions have been created for cooperation in the economic sphere."

    Damirchilu added "over the past six months, we have seen rapid progress in the trade turnover of our countries, which increased by 70 percent."
