LNG import agreement with Qatar to be unveiled, reviewed
(MENAFN) The LNG import agreement with Qatar was announced to soon be unveiled and is set to be reviewed by experts in order to examine its fairness.
The news has been declared by Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan during a press conference after a briefing by all attached departments and companies under the petroleum ministry.
The minister confirmed that fuel pricing strategy in Qatar has been inconsistent, seeing that diesel ought to be less expensive than petrol.
Minister Sarwar noted that serious accusations have been revolving around the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) agreement with Qatar.
Sarwar added that "these reports have been strengthened by the fact that the government kept it secret for a long time despite public pressure."
