Israel, US create joint agricultural research, development program
(MENAFN) Israel's Innovation Authority was announced to have agreed with the Israeli-U.S. Binational Agricultural Research and Development (BARD) to establish a joint research and development program.
The initiative was explained to be aiming to strengthen the agricultural sector in both Israel and the United States.
Israeli and American scientists and researchers, under the plan, are to be presented with support to encourage applied research.
An overall of USD4 million per year of aid were confirmed to be granted to eligible individuals after meeting their criteria, with the persons including scientists, commercial companies, researchers and experts in agriculture and technology.
