Bahrain's tourism, real estate sectors seek reinforcing relations
(MENAFN) Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) was revealed to have been in talks with Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah) to boost bilateral relations.
During a meeting, BTEA authorities and Edamah officials mostly focused on exploring methods to strengthen cooperation and bilateral ties.
The two sides also addressed during the meeting a range of joint projects along with setting up a strategic coordination method to boost cooperation among both sectors.
CEO of BTEA Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifastated "the new development projects, which provide a wide range of leisure and entertainment facilities; are appealing attractions for locals and residents; and moreover, draw in tourists from across the GCC."
The CEO added "this further strengthens the kingdom's position as an ideal tourist destination in the region, increasing the tourism sector's contribution to the national economy."
