    Qatar, Germany jump to USD12.6bn in trade volume

    (MENAFN) The volume of trade between Qatar and Germany was announced to have recorded a sharp boost to hit around USD12.6 billion during the period between 2013 and 2017.

    The figure has been unveiled by Qatar's Minister of Economy and Commerce H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani in a speech delivered at the Qatar-Germany Business and Investment Forum.

    Qatar has been placed as Germany's 11th most major partner, and ranked as Germany's 3rd most leading export destination last year.

    The Qatari minister also stressed the significance of German-Qatari bilateral trade and investment relations, underlining latest economic indicators and achievements of the two countries.
