    Jordan, Germany sign USD133m education, water agreements

    (MENAFN) Jordan was announced to have inked three deals with Germany at a value of USD133.4 million on education and water resources.

    The Jordanian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation confirmed the German government to be providing around 20 million euros alongside a soft loan for backing the development of education and water resources in Jordan.

    The ministry chief Mary Kawar stated: "the aid is part of assistance pledged by Germany" to Jordan this year.

    The ministry chief also delivered strong gratitude for Germany for its long "instrumental" aid for the Kingdom's "reform, development and modernization process."
