(MENAFN) Dubai was announced to have recorded an annual 0.78 percent boost in its non-oil foreign trade, hitting USD175.74 billion during the first half of this year.

Dubai's re-export trade stood at 203 billion dirham as it recorded an increase of 14-percent during the first six months of this year, marking the emirate as a leading re-export hub.

The figures were unveiled on Tuesday in a post on Twitter by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.

The crown prince stated "Dubai's commercial capacity expansion opens up new horizons for expanding partnerships and trade and economic cooperation with various parts of the world."
