    IFC commitments in Turkey reach USD1.1b

    (MENAFN) The International Finance Corporation (IFC) was confirmed to have made a total of USD1.1 billion of investment in Turkey during the last fiscal year.

    The World Bank's private-sector arm stated "IFC's largest commitments during the last fiscal year were Turkey ($1.1 billion).

    The IFC unveiled that its commitment also included "Romania ($336.4 million), Serbia ($190.5 million), Ukraine ($129.1 million) and Kazakhstan ($111.5 million)."

    The member of the World Bank Group stressed that Turkey is considered as its second most major investment destination internationally.

    IFC also granted Turkish banks USD938 million as part of its international trade finance program.
