    Kuwait's central bank issues USD529.31m bonds, securities

    (MENAFN) The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) was found to have issued USD529.31 million worth of bonds and securities on Tuesday.

    The bonds are expected to present 2.50 percent of return, and are to be matured over a period of three months, on December 18th, the Kuwaiti central bank confirmed.

    The central bank further unveiled the bonds to have been covered 12.94 times, with an overall volume of KWD2.07 billion.

    The Kuwaiti government is looking to increase the bonds from KWD10 billion to hit KWD20 billion, and to boost the maturity period to 30 years, the country's finance minister announced in the past.
