UAE, China take strong steps to boost strategic ties
(MENAFN) The UAE and China were confirmed to have been making strong efforts to strengthen their strategic cooperation.
It comes after Chinese President Xi Jinping made a historic trip to the UAE in July, when the agreement to boost ties was secured.
During the visit, the two sides reached a resolution to work on reinforcing their cooperation in a range of areas along with encouraging constant progress in bilateral relations.
The UAE financial free zone Abu Dhabi Global Market also inked a memorandum of understanding with the Beijing Financial Street Services on September 8.
The agreement was penned for "greater bilateral cooperation in areas including the development of financial centers in both countries, investment facilitation, joint research and closer exchange of information."
