    Israel's exports to China see 62.7 percent surge Jan-Aug

    (MENAFN) Israel saw a 62.7 percent jump in its exports to China from January to August 2018, reaching USD3.489 billion.

    Israeli products exports to China hit USD2.144 billion during the same period in 2017 and USD3.31 billion by the end of last year, as showed the Bureau of Statistics in its Foreign Trade in Goods report.

    The exports recorded a 9.8 percent boost by August this year, standing at USD291 million from USD265 million during the same month last year, data found.

    The country's imports from China also registered a 9.9 percent increase during the first eight month of this year, hitting USD4.893 billion from USD4.45 billion during the same period last year.
