Israel's firms seek to develop urban faming techs: expert
(MENAFN) Israel's firms and experts were suggested to be included in international attempts to boost and highlight technologies related to urban agriculture.
The statement was made by agronomy director of Israel's Netafim Global, Dubi Raz while speaking to Xinhua.
The agronomy director of the drip irrigation giant affirmed that the Israeli companies are certain that urban agriculture is the key for food to be available across the world.
The agronomy director stated "there are three main technological ways to do urban agriculture, and we are involved in all of them by working with most of startups and companies in these field around the world."
Raz added that the capability to grow crops using technologies away from the land and sun is to open opportunities to secure food around the globe.
