    Sudanese central bank unveils sharp boost in foreign currency supply

    (MENAFN) Sudan's central bank reportedly declared the foreign currency supply to have recorded a sharp boost.

    Mohamed Khair al-Zubair, Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan announced: "there has been a significant increase in foreign currency supply at commercial banks."

    SUNA cited the central bank governor as saying that several foreign currencies were under the process of utilization in order to meet the imports operations.

    The governor also once against affirmed that export revenues at the commercial banks registered a significant surge.

    Al-Zubair added that the Central Treasury is fully prepared to grant local currency to commercial banks, lending them a hand in buy foreign currencies.
