    Israel launches USD65.6m program for high-tech companies

    (MENAFN) The Israeli Ministry of Economy introduced a new initiative on presenting high-tech firms with financial aid by USD65.6 million.

    The financial aid is to be provided for the Israeli high-tech companies for the formation of research and development (R&D) centers.

    Israel Hayom reported the newly launched program to be offering 10 million new shekels for each eligible company for duration of three years.

    The ministry is to consider companies for the programs if 80 percent of their activity is and 60 percent of their staff live in the southern or northern periphery regions.
