    Jordan inks USD530m aid pact with Germany

    (MENAFN) Jordan was announced to have inked an assistance deal with Germany at a value of USD530 million, with an aim to help the Kingdom in its development initiatives.

    Mary Kawar, Jordan's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, uncovered the deal to be covering soft loans, technical aid and grants.

    The Jordanian minister further explained the assistance agreement to be aiming to provide Jordan with aid in its projects in main sectors, such as water and education.

    The minister suggested that the agreement is assured to help Syrian immigrants as well as host communities.

    Kawar further hailed Germany as one of the Kingdom's major allies when it comes to a range of fields.
