EU, Tunisia to ink USD307m cooperation deals
(MENAFN) Tunisia is expected to sign with the European Union (EU) four cooperation pacts, as the country welcomes European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on October 25th.
The Tunisian Presidency confirmed the visit of the top EU official to have come under the invitation of Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi.
EU Ambassador in Tunisia Patrice Bergamini stated: "these financing agreements are worth a total of 270 million euros (307 million U.S. dollars)."
The two sides were also affirmed to be discussing areas of business competitiveness, energy transition, justice reform, tax reform and social and solidarity economy.
