Renault plans doubling vehicle production in Morocco
(MENAFN) Renault was confirmed to be planning to produce double the number of its vehicles in Morocco.
The plan was offered in Marrakesh to Moroccan King Mohammed VI by Renault chairman and chief executive Carlos Ghosn.
The French vehicle manufacturer has suggested boosting its production capacity in Morocco to reach 160,000 cars per year by 2022.
The raise of vehicles at the SOMACA plant in Casablanca was explained to be encouraging the car maker to produce 500,000 vehicles per year in Morocco.
