    Qatar jumps 25.6 percent in trade balance

    (MENAFN) Qatar recorded a 25.6 percent jump in its foreign merchandise trade balance in September 2018 on a yearly basis, reaching USD42 million.

    The Qatari trade balance was revealed to have registered an 11.8 percent drop from the figure seen in August 2017.

    The figures were seen in an initial report of which the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS) issued for last month's foreign trade.

    Qatari exports' value was shown to have accounted for a 30.2 percent surge from the rate posted during the same month last year.

    Qatar's exports value also hit a 1.5 percent boost in comparison to the results of August this year.
