    Iran, Iraq to boost communication services for Arbaeen pilgrims

    (MENAFN) Iran has reached an agreement with Iraq to boost their communication services for pilgrims who make their way to Iraq's holy cities when the Arbaeen religious rituals begin.

    The agreement was secured during a meeting between Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi, Iran's Minister of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), and Ali Naser Al-Khwildi, head of Iraq's Commissioners, Communication and Media Commission (CMC).

    The two sides have held talks on the communication services on Saturday in Iraq's Najaf during a meeting.

    The officials highlighted the importance of preserving technical relations between their countries in order to offer good communication services and facilities during the religious event.

    They also shed light on cooperation between Iran and Iraq in areas of communication and technology.
