Bahrain's Gulf Air extends codeshare pact with Thai Airways
(MENAFN) Gulf Air was announced to have inked an extension agreement with Thai Airways International on their current codeshare contract.
The Bahraini national carrier is to see through the expansion deal more travel opportunities for its clients to make flights beyond Bangkok on Thai Airways to Hong Kong.
The deal also allows for an expansion of opportunities to fly to Singapore, Tokyo and Melbourne over the next months.
The expansion of the codeshare agreement also strengthens the commercial ties built up between the two sides.
"Gulf Air has a longstanding commercial partnership with Thai that we are proud of," as stated the Bahraini carrier's CEO, Kresimir Kucko.
The CEO added "Gulf Air passengers can now have greater choice, convenience and a seamless travel experience from Bangkok to local Thai destinations as well as international destinations in the Asia-Pacific region. Gulf Air looks forward to growing the broader bilateral relationship with Thai."
