Kuwait's KPC to provide oil for Chinese refinery
(MENAFN) Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) was reported to have secured an agreement for a Chinese oil refinery to be provided with its crude oil.
The deal was inked after conducting several fruitful negotiations related to the supply of crude oil to the Chinese refinery, as stated Walid Al-Badran, KPC's Managing Director for International Marketing.
The KPC official further stressed that the agreement is considered as the first to be achieved between the Kuwaiti giant and a private Chinese refinery.
The talks between the two sides, the official noted, had the presence of representatives of several institutions, such as the Kuwaiti Embassy in China, Kuwait Investment Authority and Chinese oil firms.
